Hockey

Hockey is a team sport played on ice or a field, where players aim to score goals by hitting a puck or ball into the opposing team’s net using sticks. In ice hockey, teams typically consist of six players on the ice at a time, including one goaltender, and the game is characterized by fast-paced action, physical contact, and strategic play. Field hockey, on the other hand, is played on grass or artificial turf, usually with eleven players on each side. The rules and gameplay differ between the two versions, but both require skill, teamwork, and agility. Hockey is popular worldwide, especially in countries like Canada, the United States, Russia, and many European nations, and it includes various forms, such as inline hockey and floor hockey.
